Engineering & Construction Surveys

Engineering and Construction projects involve surveyors from start to finish. Before the project, a topographical survey is required, which will be used by the Architect/Engineer/Planner as the basis for their design. During construction a surveyor must be present to ensure the project is being laid out according to the design. A surveyor might also be responsible for tracking deliverables or assisting in redesign. At the end of a project, an asbuilt survey is usually required.

Projects range in scope and size, from home construction, to infrastructure, to large scale oil and gas projects. Regardless of the size, surveyors are integral in the success of any project.
